Games Gods play

You create us, the humans,
give us the five senses
which love to wande at will,
you then send Thirumoolar
who talks about taming the senses
so that we can reach you,
once and for all

You create our brains
and put a damn mind in that
which continuously wanders, from
inside of pamelas blouse, to
einsteins theory of relativity, then
you send Krishnamurthi
to instruct us to watch our mind,
so that we might realize the Truth

You create my hormones
which are on a overdrive most of the time
Which start rumbling
at the most inopportune moments, and
you send a Patanjali to instruct us, that
Brahmacharya is the sacred vow , that
can take me to greatness

It beats me to comprehend why,
why you would want to give us these things,
which, naturally, do things that
are deplored by these special people,
why do you play such games?
Why? But Why??

The concept of God is just to define a convenient starting or ending point.

Your hormones behave the way it behaves because of certain chemical reactions, and why those reactions have to tacke place at that moment and that place is the point to be thought about. So do not ask God or xyz on the games they play, try understand the game yourself.

The people you have mentioned have given a guidance on how to live, may be out of compassion to their kind.

A theist turned atheist is the staunch one...

Well its funny, when people can go in search for something that they do not know if its there are or not.

By the way what I said earlier was not advice, just expressing a different view.

firstly.. i should apologize for my rather rude previous comment.. sorry about that..

1.) Mr.Anon should realize that introducing urself is a basic must to have an argument.. coz if someone else posts as anon.. how the hell do i figure out which post is from which anon? you can probably be much more mature than that unless of course you are a teenager :)

2.) If you think that "So do not ask God or xyz on the games they play, try understand the game yourself" is not advice but an opinion, then you should probably look at changing the way you put across things. It definitely comes across as advice with the tone of a 'big brother'

3.) Lastly and most importantly
I seriously have a problem with people who post opinions about the concept of god as if what they were saying is the ultimate truth. The first statement in your comment just shows that. The concept of God is something experiential and not intellectual. While an atheist is perfectly free to say I dont think it is possible to experience anything by doing all the crazy things that a theist does, he cannot put down a certain intellectual description of someone elses experience.

eg: You study an array sorting algorithm, say quicksort, you can easily explain its positives negatives etc... as it is an intellectual process
But you cannot read Kamasutra and say yeah, this pose is pleasurable but that pose is not.. For, it is an experiential science. You should have done that before commenting on that. If you dont experience it, all you can say is, 'I havent experienced it'.

Also, even if you want to define an experiential science, at the very least, it should come out of your own experience and intellect. Parrot like repetition of what someone else has said does not show you in great light.

@Badhri - you might have a worthwhile point..
