God does play dice

Cosmological questions about the beginning of time and theosophical/philosophical questions about our origins is permanently fascinating and when one of the worlds best brains tries to explain that, it is certainly captivating. One of the analogies from the talk that I really liked was when he was trying to explain what happened before the Big bang? According to Prof.Hawking, talking about time before the big bang is equivalent to talking about what happened at the edge of the earth when people thought that the earth was flat :). Whoaaaa!!!! I have no clue what that means :D
