How rich are you
Many times when I've spoken about my plans with some of my closest friends and family, I've been at the receiving end of barbs and patronizing glares. Questions like 'Do you think you are rich', 'What will you do to eat', blah blah blah. I've always told them that I am rich and again the whole cycle of barbs and patronizing glares start. But, it looks like I was right all along. Global rich list lets you calculate where you stand with respect to the money you earn. Produces surprising results. It looks like a person earning a modest salary of Rs.10000 a month in India is amongst the top 15% of the richest!!! Surprise surprise!!!! So, next time you want to crib that you dont have enough money, just remind yourself about your standing in the above mentioned list :).

Its really a surprising one and am not able to believe that also...Do u have any idea on wat basis the calculations are...
there is a link on the page that says how they calculate it.. dont know much beyond that...
it is surprising initially but when we factor in the fact that most of the citizens of the so called third world live in non-economy based societies..
though this factor does not indicate everything, it is not like it means nothing.. I think making a mental note of it will help :)
So were you thinking yourself to be rich based on the same argument? money?

that website was in the context of the amount of money one earns.. and no other factor. so everything in this post is with reference to that :)
