Sadhana forest

This is one of the first places I visited after I came back to India. Its an organization that is part of Auroville, Pondicherry (India), and in its own words (from its facebook page) its primary motive is
to ecologically transform 70 acres of severely eroded land in Auroville, into a vibrant Tropical Dry Evergreen Forest (TDEF)
I have visited it just once and am very impressed. Am planning to visit the place more often. Do check out Sadhana's facebook page for lot more details regarding it and if you come down south in India, do plan to visit the place.

hey steve... nice to see you here..
I actually went on a weekend and so there was not much work.. I met a lot of wonderful and committed folks there.. they generate very minimal, if any at all, waste.. and I was very impressed by that.. and super healthy, but slightly boring, food too!
will give more updates after further visits!! how are you doing?

@sarav - sure da! will talk to you when you are down here..

Sounds pretty nice, so you're going to be going back there some time?

Not too bad here, finally getting my thesis bound. Yoga is going pretty well, marichyasana is tough!
