The firefly's light is not an attempt to eliminate all darkness forever. That is the job of the sun. Instead, the firefly merely demonstrates the intensity of the darkness! So is the case with spiritual warrior - the motivation is to show the presence of ignorance, the universal cause of suffering. There is only one source of light for all of creation!
