God and Satan

Neither is needed for good and bad events. The best of actions that the human mind can ever conceive can be and regularly gets done by humans and the worst evil act that the human mind can ever synthesize regularly gets committed by humans.

That's true but

1) I don't think anyone does anything good or bad intentionally. In fact I believe no one is good or bad...it's the situations of that person that make them so...
2) I don't think I can rank any good action as the "best" action or any "evil" action as the worst action...If any one or two actions produce positive results, I can't really say oh this is the best out of the two actions ever performed by anyone...you can't compare the two and since your post's label is "spirituality", in that context, it's certainly not possible to think of any good action as the best action and any evil action as the worst action. Any action that hurts someone is a worse action...I don't think it's comparable or rankable...this might be a little out of context from the topic of your post but just because when I read it, and this thought appeared to me, I mentioned it. For example, you can't say which out of the two: hiroshima and nagasaki bombing and tsunami, was the worst action.

3) I don't think I can think of good and bad events and relate them to God and Satan...I guess it's just about how you define God and Satan...infact, like you've mentioned about good and bad actions which probably lead to events that you are talking about, god and satan are also man-made terms...so I guess, one of the "best actions" as you have phrased it, is the creation of God, in times when the human mind (according to you) does the worst evil acts. And this creation is to pray and to make things better caused by that mistake(evil action) and the creation of Satan as a justification for that same. Or may be as a fear figure so that humans themselves are not tempted to do bad actions...

Other than that, it is a thought provoking post but either I am failing to understand the clear idea behind it or it just has some little holes here and there with the words and their meanings...Or may be because the words used can have relative meanings...or just that I am tired and so it's not clicking...
Anyhow, nice work.
Oh, my brain has a message for you.
My brain: "Thanks for the dinner Partha! As you already know, spiritualism is my favourite food. Loved it. yummm..still getting the after-taste..." =)

'I don't think anyone does anything good or bad intentionally. In fact I believe no one is good or bad...it's the situations of that person that make them so...' - How I wish this were true!!

The aim of this is not to compare severeness of goodness or evilness. Its that we have amongst us, people who are capable of any thing.

Thanks for the huge comment.. which is at least 5 times that of the post itself. :)

enjoyed the post and comments. The situation which makes one bad and good, yup .. when the human mind can be trained to evolute scientifically, am sure it can be trained to take on situations too .. its too simple, way hard because we were never trained to see the real!!

very awkward huh ..

but one personal experience I had and am sure it is true that .. God doesnt gives what we wish, but gives the situations where we can realize our wish!

hope the situations makes sense with what you have written ...

but yeah .. situations to change and change leading to reality. Thats it!
